Tobacco has been used experimentally by cocktail-makers to create tobacco bitters by infusion in alcohol. Nicotine is highly soluble in alcohol and the lethal dose (60mg) is easily attained with a modest amount of tobacco. It is as poisonous as hydrogen cyanide. Infusion is much more effective than is smoking in extracting nicotine. You've been warned.

Kindred Cocktails strongly recommends avoiding tobacco infusions or bitters.
