Sauza Hornitos is a brand of [ingredient=tequila tequila] owned by Fortune Brands (under the Beam Global Wine and Spirits label) and made at the La Perseverancia (Sauza) distillery in Guadalajara, Mexico (NOM 1102).

The Hornitos brand was invented in 1950 by Don Francisco Javier Sauza, the grandson of the founder of the company. He worked to reduce the influence of wood on reposado and anejo tequila, aging them in 10,000 gallon barrels instead of the 55 liter barrels that were commonly used.

Today, Hornitos makes a [ingredient=blanco-tequila silver], a [ingredient=reposado-tequila reposado] and an [ingredient=anejo-tequila aƱejo] tequila, which are all double distilled from 100% blue agave.
