Light rum, Aperol, Lime juice, Maple syrup, Club soda

1ozLime juice
12ozMaple syrup (recipe calls for bourbon barrel aged syrup - they specify Noble Tonic 01, I used BLiS)
 ozClub soda
Combine ingredients over ice in highball glass, top with club soda to fill.
Original recipe called for floating Aperol in a spent lime shell and stirring into drink.
