Doctor Funk (Don the Beachcomber)

1 12 oz Light rum (either Puerto Rican or Cuban)
12 oz Grenadine
1 t Pastis, Pernod
34 oz Lime juice
3 oz Soda water (to top)
Instructions
Shake everything except soda, pour unstrained into a pilsner glass. Add soda and stir to combine.
Notes
This is pretty underpowered compared to the Trader Vic Dr. Funk variant - if your pilsner glass is 16 oz, it's probably very weak.

Good catch y'all! I rewrote

Good catch y'all!

I rewrote the drink to Berry's standard, and cited him. I also created the Trader Vic version from the Bartender's Guide.

Thanks,
